Product Description
This indoor camera combines motion-triggered monitoring with a compact, wall-mounted body. Its white rectangular housing has a ribbed front window and a small camera opening below it, giving the device a motion-detector-style appearance. At 12 cm high and 7 cm wide, it can sit on an indoor wall facing a doorway, hallway or part of a living area where you want to follow activity.
Motion detection provides a notification to your phone when movement is detected, with a snapshot available in the app. Email alerts provide another way to receive an activity notice. These functions are useful when you want an event to prompt you to open the camera view, rather than watching the room continuously. Event recording lets you return to footage associated with detected activity.
The camera has a built-in microphone and speaker for two-way audio. You can listen through the camera and speak through it remotely, which is useful for communicating with someone in the monitored area. For example, you can respond to a person at an indoor entrance while viewing the scene on your phone.
940nm infrared night vision supports a monochrome view in low light. This provides a way to see the monitored area when normal room lighting is reduced, alongside daytime viewing.
A separate memory card provides local recording storage; a card is not included. Overwrite recording replaces older files as storage fills, so footage you want to keep needs to be saved before it is replaced. Pre-event and post-event recording options provide footage around a motion event. Cloud storage is also available as an additional storage route.
The rear bracket provides wall placement for directing the front-facing camera toward the activity of interest. Choose an indoor position that leaves the camera opening unobstructed and gives a useful view of the entrance or room area you want to monitor.
