Description
Use a familiar clock face alongside an indoor camera you can access from your phone. This design has white numerals and hands on a dark, rounded square face, with the camera looking outward from the front of the clock. It suits a shelf, side table or desk where you want an easy-to-read analogue clock and a view across the surrounding room.
The camera records 1080p video and connects through 2.4GHz Wi-Fi. Tuya Smart provides app access on Android and iOS, letting you view the room remotely once the camera is connected to your internet-enabled network. A position facing a doorway, home-office area or pet’s usual resting place can make the live view useful for following everyday activity. The direction of the clock determines what the front-facing camera sees.
Motion detection sends an alert to your phone and saves a screenshot in the app when movement is detected. The image gives you a quick indication of the event, and you can open the live video to see what is happening. This helps you use the camera around activity notifications instead of leaving the feed open continuously.
A rear microSD slot supports local recording with a card up to 128GB. Loop recording replaces older files with newer footage when the card fills, allowing ongoing recording without clearing storage after each session. Save recordings you want to keep before they are overwritten.
Camera power connects through the rear USB port, using a 5V USB power adapter or a USB power bank. The power-bank option can be useful for a temporary placement away from a wall socket, while an adapter suits a regular desk or shelf location. Rear camera controls include an on/off switch and reset button.
The clock has separate controls for setting the time and alarm, plus an alarm on/off switch. Keeping those adjustments on the back leaves the front face focused on the numerals and hands. Position the clock so the camera opening remains clear and the rear power connection is accessible.
