Product Description
Add phone audio to an FM-equipped car stereo with this Bluetooth 5.0 transmitter. The compact unit plugs into a compatible vehicle power socket, receives audio from your phone and sends it to the car radio on an FM frequency. It is a practical way to listen to playlists, podcasts or spoken directions through an older stereo while also providing USB connections for device charging.
For Bluetooth playback, pair a compatible phone with the transmitter and tune the transmitter and car radio to the same frequency. The available FM range is 87.5–108MHz, and the red digital display shows the selected frequency. A clear frequency helps reduce interference from local radio stations. Complete pairing and tuning while parked, then use the vehicle's familiar audio system for listening.
The transmitter supports hands-free calling as well as music playback. Its controls are grouped around a raised central knob, with separate channel and lighting buttons on the top face. Keeping these controls on the socket-mounted unit makes them easier to locate than a small loose adapter, although accessibility depends on where the vehicle's power socket sits.
Flash-drive music playback gives you another listening option when you prefer stored files to phone audio. Two USB-A sockets and a USB-C socket are built into the top of the unit. The charging specifications include 5V/3.1A and 5V/1A outputs; a device's actual charging rate depends on the connection, cable and device. The extra charging connections are useful for maintaining phone power during navigation or a longer journey without adding a separate socket charger.
A coloured light surrounds the top face. The lighting button switches between seven colours and a cycling mode, letting you choose a steady accent or changing illumination to suit the cabin. The transmitter has an ABS body measuring approximately 3.2 × 5.3 × 8.5cm and supports a 10–24V supply. Its socket-powered format combines the FM audio bridge, visible tuning display and device-charging connections in one removable accessory.
