CPVAN Wireless Alarm Kit – PIR Motion & Door Sensor

Add a local audible alert to an indoor space with this battery-operated CPVAN motion alarm. The PIR detector responds to movement within its sensing area, and the handheld remote lets you arm or disarm it without reaching the detector itself. It is useful near an indoor entrance, inside a garage or around a room where you want an audible indication of activity.

The alarm unit sits in an adjustable bracket with a mounting base. This gives you a way to aim the sensing area towards the route you want to monitor, such as movement through a doorway. A suitable position keeps the sensor clear of objects that would block it and makes the alarm's sound useful in the occupied area of the home.

Two operating modes provide different kinds of indication. Alarm mode produces an alarm sound, while chime mode gives a doorbell-style sound when movement is detected. Chime mode is useful for noticing someone entering an area during the day, while the alarm mode provides a more prominent local alert when the detector is armed.

The remote has dedicated arm and disarm controls, so you can change the operating state as you enter or leave the monitored area. Wireless control uses a 433MHz connection. This is a local alarm arrangement; no phone app, message service or professional response service is specified.

Battery operation gives you flexibility in placing the detector without running a power lead to its location. The battery compartment has a retaining screw, and the bracket provides mounting positions for a fixed installation. White and Black colour options let you choose the finish for the surrounding area.

Choose the sensor position according to the instructions and test its response after installation. Walk through the intended monitored route, then adjust the angle if necessary. Keep the detector in a suitable indoor position and use it as an additional way to draw attention to movement, alongside your ordinary arrangements for securing the space.
