Product Description
See who is outside before opening the door with this 2.8-inch LCD door viewer. A round camera sits on the exterior side of the door and sends its view to the screen inside. It gives you a visible doorway image without putting your eye against a traditional optical peephole, making it useful for checking a visitor or delivery from indoors.
The camera has a 90-degree viewing angle for the area immediately in front of the door. Two infrared lights support night-time viewing, so the viewer can also show the entrance when the available light is low. The fixed camera remains aimed at the doorway while you operate the display on the inside.
A doorbell button is built into the exterior camera unit. When a visitor presses it, the viewer captures a photo for later review. This provides a record of a caller even when you do not view the screen at that moment. Built-in memory stores the photos, and cyclic storage replaces the earliest images as the available space runs out.
Three controls sit below the indoor screen: a central power/select key and left and right navigation keys. The controls are kept together beneath the display, so viewing and navigating the viewer's functions happen at the door.
Installation is designed for a door thickness of 35–120 mm and a peephole diameter of 14–22 mm. The indoor monitor measures approximately 13 cm wide, 7 cm high and 1.5 cm thick. The exterior camera has an approximately 6 cm face, with a 1.5 cm projection. These measurements describe the fit and footprint of the two parts on either side of the door.
Four 1.5V AAA batteries power the viewer. The package contains the camera and display assembly, a mounting plate, three mounting screws and a user manual. Silver and gold finishes are offered. Its local screen, infrared lighting and doorbell-triggered photo storage make it a practical way to view and review visitors at a compatible door.
