Control the power to a compatible lamp or appliance from your phone with this compact WiFi smart plug. It sits between the wall outlet and the connected device, adding app switching and scheduled operation to equipment that would otherwise be switched at the socket. It is useful for a desk lamp, a living-room light or another compatible device you want to include in a daily routine.
The Smart Life app lets you turn the plug on or off while connected to the network, including when you are away from home. A switch-history log records on/off activity, giving you a way to review when the outlet was switched without treating that history as electricity-consumption measurement.
Build a routine around the outlet
Set scheduled on and off times instead of repeating the same manual switching every day. For example, a compatible lamp can be scheduled around your evening routine. Loop-task controls provide repeating switching options, and app scenes let you include the plug in supported smart-home actions.
Alexa and Google Home support add voice operation. After linking the plug within a compatible voice-assistant setup, you can use a spoken command to switch the connected device rather than opening the app. Family sharing also allows supported household users to operate the same plug from their phones.
Practical controls
A side button provides local switching, with an LED indicator on the plug. Restart-state settings let you choose whether the outlet returns to on, off or its previous state when power is restored. This gives you control over the outlet's restart behaviour as part of your setup.
Connect the plug to a 2.4GHz WiFi network and pair it with Smart Life. The round body measures approximately 50mm across and 30mm deep, excluding the plug pins. Its US-format plug and socket provide the physical connection.
