Product Description
Add a chain connection and an audible alert to a door with this key-controlled alarm. The unit combines an alarm body, a separate chain receiver and a connecting chain, bringing the physical chain mechanism and alarm controls together in one compact arrangement. It is useful for someone who wants an additional door alert alongside their existing door hardware.
Keys control arming and disarming, giving the person with the key direct control over the alarm’s operating state. This is a practical distinction from a simple contact alarm with only an exposed on/off switch: the controls are managed through the keyed unit. The chain links the two mounted sections, while the alarm provides sound to draw attention to activity at the opening.
The compact parts leave room for placement around existing hardware. The alarm body measures 72 mm high, 38.5 mm wide and 23 mm deep. The separate receiver measures 70 mm high, 35 mm wide and 22 mm deep, and the chain is 200 mm long. These measurements are useful when planning where the two sections will sit in relation to a door frame, handle or other fittings. The chain’s length also matters to the spacing between the two mounted parts.
The two-piece design can be arranged across an opening, with the alarm body on one side and its receiver on the other. Door, window and cupboard applications give it uses beyond an entrance door, including an opening where a local audible alert would be useful. Placement needs to accommodate both the chain connection and the movement of the opening.
Choose white or black to suit the surrounding surface and hardware. Both finishes retain the same compact chain-and-alarm layout, with the key control accessible on the main body.
