Smart Fingerbot Button Pusher – App-Controlled Switch

Turn a suitable physical button into an app-controlled action without replacing the appliance around it. This compact fingerbot mounts beside a button or switch and moves a small mechanical arm to operate it. It can be useful for an accessible light switch, an appliance start button or another everyday control that you would normally press by hand. The device works externally, so its role is to move the existing control rather than alter the appliance's wiring.

Click and switch work modes accommodate different actions. A click suits a momentary button press, while switch mode supports a compatible switch arrangement. Interchangeable arms help adapt the contact point to the control: the package contains a short straight arm, a long straight arm and a ring arm, along with mounting tape and the bot itself. The arm has a maximum movement of 8 mm and a specified stall torque of 1.6 kgf-cm. Button shape, travel and the available mounting space determine which controls the mechanism can operate.

Smartphone control and scheduling let the action become part of a routine. For example, a suitable prepared coffee machine with a physical start button can be triggered at a chosen time, or a compatible switch can be operated without walking across the room. The touch area on the bot also provides a local way to trigger the action.

The specified wireless protocol is BLE 4.2. A compatible Tuya Bluetooth gateway and a stable internet connection are required for remote operation beyond the local Bluetooth connection. Smart Life/Tuya integration supports app control, with Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant support through the compatible connected setup. The gateway provides the link between the Bluetooth bot and those internet-based controls.

The body measures 48 × 37 × 33 mm and comes in black or white. A replaceable battery powers the moving mechanism. Mounting depends on positioning the chosen arm over the control with enough room for its travel, so the bot can perform the same physical action each time.
