WiFi Smart Roller Blind Motor – App-Controlled Motorized Shades

Turn a compatible cord-loop or beaded-chain blind into an app-controlled window covering with this retrofit motor. The unit mounts beside the blind's control loop and drives that loop to raise or lower the shade. This lets you retain a suitable existing blind while adding powered movement, rather than replacing the whole window covering with a new motorised assembly.

Tuya-based Wi-Fi control gives you access from a mobile app. You can open or close the blind, stop movement and choose a partial opening percentage. A partly raised shade is useful when you want daylight without fully exposing the window, or when adjusting the light around a desk.

Scheduling allows movements to follow chosen times. Set the blind to open in the morning or close for evening privacy, with repeat settings for your routine. Alexa and Google Home support adds voice operation, so you can adjust the shade while seated without reaching for its loop. Remote app access uses a working network connection.

Device sharing lets other household members control the blind from their phones. Group settings can bring multiple compatible blind controllers together for simultaneous opening or closing, which is practical in a room with several windows. Each blind needs its own suitable motor arrangement.

Three buttons on the front provide local movement and stop controls. The drive uses interchangeable gears for supported cord loops and plastic or metal beaded chains. A mounting bracket positions the motor beside the loop, and the slim white body measures approximately 160 × 41 × 46mm.

The motor is specified for 12V operation at a rated current of 1.2A, with a rated speed of 55rpm and a maximum supported blind weight of 10kg. It uses an external power adapter; the specified adapter input range is 110–240V. This is an electrically powered setup, with the power cable remaining connected during operation.

For a compatible chain- or cord-operated blind, the useful changes are daily scheduling, partial-position control and access through the app, voice setup or local buttons. These controls make it easier to manage light and privacy throughout the day.
